School-based social work services will support schools from three aspects: students, families and staff, including:
(1)improving students’ self-confidence and problem-solving abilities, cultivating students’ good character, and enhancing social skills; supporting students with different needs to provide appropriate counselling service.
(2)Encourage parents to jointly participate in the cultivation of students, and use family care to grow with students; provide appropriate methods for families with different needs to improve parents’ parenting skills.
(3)Provide appropriate support and training for teaching staff; and work with schools to early identify, support and refer individual students and their families in need.
